HOW CAN I CONNECT?

When you are abroad, we will notify you by SMS about standard data tariffs.
If data packs are also available in the country in question, you will receive a text message with information about data packs and the way you can connect.

  • The chosen data pack can be connected by sending a text message with the data pack code to 1601.
  • After the data pack has been activated, you will receive a confirmation SMS.
  • The charge for the data pack will be removed from your ZZ account.
  • You can also connect your data pack just before your departure, while you are still in Latvia, but in this case, you must remember that the validity term will be activated immediately after connection, not upon your arrival at your end destination. Therefore, we recommend connecting the data pack immediately before your departure from Latvia.
  • After your data pack is used up, data transmission will automatically be restricted for 24 hours in the country in question.

If you want to restore data transmission, you can

  • order a new data pack;
  • activate the standard charge per MB according to the relevant country’s roaming tariffs by sending MB to 1601.
STATUS CHECK
  • To check the amount you’ve used up, send “I” (INFO) to 1601.
  • When you use up over 80% of your data pack, you will automatically be notified by SMS.
  • After you have used up the pack, you will be notified by SMS and data transmission will be restricted for 24 hours.
  • In Latvia, sending an SMS to 1601 is free of charge. When you are abroad, the charge is in accordance with roaming tariffs.

NB! The data transmission volume consumed will be collated as soon as you have completed your mobile data session.
For example, one video clip on YouTube is one session. This means that you will receive a warning text message after reaching 80% or 100% of your data pack volume.
