Send texts within our network until your thumbs give out!

Zelta Zivtiņa allows you to send as many text messages within the Tele2 network as your thumbs can take!

That’s no joke: simply apply for the service by texting the letters SMS to 1616! Price of the text message: LVL 0.79. Once you receive a confirmation message, you will be able to text as much as you wish for a whole two months, and then simply renew the service.

If you wish to find out how long you can send free text messages, text the letters T to 1616.

To receive text messages from the internet and to send them to an e-mail, you have to register. To activate this service, text the word ON to 1612. To cancel this service and stop receiving any more text messages from the internet and to stop sending SMSs to e-mail addresses, you have to text OFF to 1612.

In order to send a text message to an e-mail address, you should address it to 9912 and compose the text as follows: e-pasts@adrese.lv #(Temats)Teksts. In order to send a text message from an e-mail account, you have to address it to 371xxxxxxx@sms.tele2.lv (the number MUST be preceded by the country code 371!) or use an online SMS sending feature (www.zeltazivtina.lv, www.tele2.lv etc.). A message can be sent to anyone, but only those who have registered to receive messages from the internet will receive it. MMS

Sending an MMS is as easy as texting, and they can be sent both to a mobile phone and to an e-mail address.

To use MMS, you need a phone that supports the MMS service with data transmission settings – which you can get here or by texting the letter G to 8888.

To activate incoming MMS, you must first send one such message to a friend or to your own number.

If your phone doesn’t support receiving MMS settings in a text, you will have to perform the configuration yourself. Settings for manual entry.

Incoming MMSs are free.
